The Electric Vehicles Research Centre (eMotion) is a component part of "Valahia" University of Targoviste (University). The eMotion website is presented at the Internet address emotion.valahia.ro (website).
By resources you agree to understand any information, know-how or other electronic or material assets presented on the website.

1. Copyright information
All editorial content and graphics on our website are protected by E.U. copyright, international treaties and other applicable copyright laws and may not be copied without the express permission of University's Management, which reserves all rights. Re-using of any of eMotion's editorial content and graphics for any purpose without University permission is strictly prohibited.
eMotion and the University have the right to intellectual property in accordance with the law:
- Law 206/2004 regarding appropriate behaviour in scientific research, technological development and innovation, with subsequent amendments;
- Law No 64/1991 on patents invention, republished, with subsequent amendments;
- Law 129/1992 on the protection of industrial designs, republished;
- Law 8/1996 on copyright and related rights, as amended and supplemented.
Intellectual property rights acquired by eMotion during the research activities prior to the publication on the website are and will remain the exclusive property of eMotion. Proper quoting of the published information is allowed according to appropriate behaviour in scientific research, technological development and innovation.
2. eMotion Membership restrictions
All types of memberships are free and may be subject of eMotion's management approval, as follows.
eMotion's grants you a free nonexclusive limited domain license to use the eMotion's resources presented through our website.
Membership Abbreviations :
ENM - eMotion Newsletter Membership
EAM - eMotion Aspirant Membership
ERM - eMotion Researcher Membership
ECM - eMotion Collaborator Membership
EPM - eMotion Partner Membership
2.1. eMotion Newsletter Membership
ENM can be obtained by submitting your email address on the website on the newsletter section and isn’t a subject of eMotion’s management approval. ENM members agree that they request for the periodical information sent by the website.
2.2. eMotion Aspirant Membership
EAM can be obtained by online or hard-copied application and is a subject of eMotion’s management approval. The management reserve its right to approve or to decline a request for this membership type, to suspend or cancel an EAM account for violation of any of Terms of Use.
The information available for EAM members is stored in website containers protected by members’ credentials.
The applicants for this membership are assumed not to be active researchers but persons interested in eMotion activity.
2.3. eMotion Researcher Membership
ERM can be obtained by online or hard-copied application and is a subject of eMotion’s management approval. The management reserve its right to approve or to decline a request for this membership type, to suspend or cancel an ERM account for violation of any Terms of Use.
The information available for ERM members is stored in website containers protected by members’ credentials.
The applicants for this membership are assumed to be active researchers that don’t have a contractual relation with eMotion or the University.
2.4. eMotion Collaborator Membership
ECM can be activated by online or hard-copied application and is not a subject of eMotion’s management approval. The management reserve its right to activate or not a request for this membership type based on the legitimacy of the request, to suspend or cancel an ECM account for violation of any Terms of Use or Contractual Clause.
The information available for ECM members is stored in website containers protected by members’ credentials.
The applicants for this membership are assumed to be active researchers that have a contractual relation with eMotion or the University in the fields of eMotion’s interest.
2.5. eMotion Partner Membership
EPM can be activated by online or hard-copied application and is not a subject of eMotion’s management approval. The management reserve its right to activate or not a request for this membership type based on the legitimacy of the request, to suspend or cancel an eMotion RM account for violation of any Terms of Use or Contractual Clause.
The information available for EPM members is stored in website containers protected by members’ credentials.
The applicants for this membership are assumed to be representative persons of eMotion Partners.
3. Unauthorized use
You may not place any of our resources, modified or unmodified, on a diskette, CD, website or any other medium and offer them for distribution or sale of any kind without prior written consent from eMotion.
4. Assignability
Membership privileges are granted per user account only. They are not transferable to other users without prior written consent from eMotion.
5. Ownership
You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our resources, modified or unmodified. All resources, except for those for which eMotion has only licence for use, are property of eMotion.
The images that are not property of eMotion used in the website are for representative purpose only and we strongly advise users against using them in their project and such stock images should be purchased by user separately to avoid legal hassles.
6. Disclaimer
eMotion's resources are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall our juridical person be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.

Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously and only basic information is required by us for processing the signup process. We do not ask or store your credit card information. We do not share member’s details with anyone, nor we run ads or other commercial activities apart from our said activity from our domain.
We do send out periodic emails to members based on their subscription to update them on information, educational and research offers and policy changes.
We recommend to use active email account to receive such important announcements.

Information Collection and Use
You may decide whether to proceed or not with any activity that requests personally identifiable information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete the resource request. We do not collect information from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, we ask that you do not submit any personal information through the Site. If we have specific knowledge that an individual under the age of 13 has submitted personally identifiable information to the Site, we will delete such information permanently and without notice.

eMotion collects personally identifiable information that can be divided into the following categories:
eMotion Membership Registration Information: eMotion Memberships ask you for certain personally identifiable information as part of the registration process (including but not limited to your name, email address, occupation, institution). Certain of this information is necessary in order to conclude the registration. If you provide us with personally identifiable information, and select the "Inform me about important news" option on the registration page or in the Personal Page of the "Control Panel" in the eMotion account, we use this information to send you communications, including informative emails/newsletters about eMotion activity and to provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you, including announcements from Partners. In the event you no longer wish to receive such information, you may choose to opt out of receiving further communications by complying with the procedures listed in the "Updating/Unsubscribing Your Email Address" section of this Privacy Policy. Except in the case of Collaborator and Partner Membership, eMotion keeps personally identifiable information, collected in the course of registration of eMotion, confidential and does not sell, trade, or exchange mailing lists with any organization.
Partner Application: If you request participation in the partner program online, we will ask you for information necessary to complete the request such as company name, email address and company profile.
Contact Methods for Subscribers and Members
Email: With your permission, eMotion will send you communications, including informative emails/newsletters about eMotion’s activities and services. These communications provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you.
Phone: Sometimes, and that depends on your membership type, only for Collaborator and Partner Memberships, we may call you on the phone to increase the speed and volume of the communication.
Fax: Sometimes, and that depends on your membership type, only for Collaborator and Partner Memberships, we may send you documents on your Fax number provided by you in your account.
Site Functionality
Cookies: A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our Site. Once you close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our Site, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our Site. You may still use our Site if you reject the cookie. The only drawback to this is that you will be limited in some areas of our Site. Log Files: We (eMotion and/or our contracted web analytics provider(s)) do keep track of the domains from which you access our Site and Services on the World Wide Web, and may log IP addresses or other identifiers for statistical purposes. We do this to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use to identify and analyse trends and the results of our dissemination efforts, to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Site and Services, and analyse users' movements. Security of Your Information
All information gathered on the Site is stored and maintained in secure facilities. All eMotion employees, and all external service providers who may process and/or store customer data, are briefed about the company's privacy and security policies on a regular basis. Any service providers with whom eMotion contracts, and who receive, store, or process personally identifiable customer data, have committed to abide by the provisions of this privacy policy.
